Robert Romero (coach BJ) :: Jun 3, 2008, 2:30 am
Congratulations, wrestlers on all of your accolades this past year, as a coach and your friend I am proud to wear Team Miron on my chest. Carpe Diem! Miron, you're relentless pursuit of handwork, loyalty, and dedication is a trait few Americans have ever been able to accomplish let alone witness. You're coaching style, aggressive tenacity, and shear love of the sport helps guide these young men into the future, prepared and ready for any of lifes adversity. As an assistant coach I have often marveled long after the last sprint has been ran, the last high crotch has been hit, the last throw perfected, the last bits of encouragement offered to father/mother, and son, how truly lucky everyone of our student athletes are to have you. As I stated before I too am lucky to be part of this wrestling family. My family and I are so proud of Kaleb and all of his tremendous accomplishments, multi time national titles, and 3 state titles. While his accomplishments on the mat supersede his reputation the desire, dedication, work ethic, respect, love, self-confidence, and adoration, These are just a few of the many things he has learned by being associated with your organization. These are life long lessons he will use to better his future for his children and god willing pass on to my future son. It is a true shame that others do not appreciate the opportunities that are given in central Ohio. I wish you all the success in the future and may god bless you with the ability to continue "proving it by results". Thank you Gina for all of your kindness to me and my family I will never forget that. Miron you once told me a phrase my mother has used a 1000 times before , behind every great man is a great woman., as I begin my new life with my lovely wife Nora I constantly think of those talks we have had about loyalty to your families. How truly lucky you we are to have loving, supportive, beautiful wives, by our side Miron. Because of your hand and kind words alone I have accomplished so many of my goals in such a short amount of time. It is with only your love, selflessness, support, and guidance that I am proud to announce a dream that you have once again help achieve. A head freshman coaching position at a local high school. While some may see this as an ending this is only the beginning of a long and beautiful friendship between us. I will see you all very soon may all your dreams be granted. Keep it up Kaleb (Your Uncle b is very proud of you and he loves you win or lose) and all of team Miron continue your road to the next level, continue using wrestling as a vehicle to life's next stage. Carpe Diem Komahda Mnpoha.
